Access blocked websites by using Chrome

geekstrack-access-blocked-websites
Access blocked websites by using the https version of its Google cache. It’s like a free https proxy from Google and very fast loading. In most colleges and schools, the content of certain sites is blocked using filters orfirewalls. Normally in such case, most of us use free web proxies or vpn services

The best method to try out in this case is by using google’s https cache service. This cache is linked directly to the secured https version of the site’s content in google servers. [you can access the google cache of any site by searching for cache:www.geekstrack.com in the search boxgoogle-webcache-extentions

HTTPS version could be added by entering an ‘s’ after the http cache url or you can download an extension forgoogle chrome which converts all google cache link to its secured version.

How To Recover your Stolen Laptop By Anzul Aqueel

In the last month, two family members and one friend have had laptops stolen right out of their homes. Sadly, none of the systems were equipped with remote-monitoring software, meaning the chances of recovery are just about zero.
To me this serves as a wake-up call; I'm in the process of evaluating various laptop-recovery services to see which one I should deploy on my own machines.
Short-term, I'm equipping my primary, can't-live-without-it laptop with LockItTight. Like similar services, it relies on a small, hidden client program that performs location tracking, Webcam captures, file recovery, and even keylogging. Unlike similar services, LockItTight is free--for one PC, anyway.
After you sign up for and activate your account, you download and run the LockItTight client (which is compatible with Windows XP and later). And that's pretty much the last you see of it; you won't find any evidence of it in the system tray or Programs menu. (Neither will tech-savvy thieves, which is exactly the point.)
To tweak LockItTight's settings and/or find out what your laptop's been up to, you sign into your account via aWeb browser. By default, the client will simply report the laptop's position (usually via Wi-Fi, which in my tests was accurate to about 500 meters), but you can also enable screen capture, Webcam capture, key logs, clipboard logs, remote file retrieval, and remote file deletion.
Pretty neat, eh? Alas, if there's no Internet connection, there's no data for LockItTight to gather--so there's no guarantee this will help you locate your stolen system. (If it does, make sure to let the police handle therecovery.) But it's a damn sight better than nothing.
The other catch: LockItTight Free limits you to one device and will report its location only every two hours. If you want more devices and more frequent reporting, you'll need a paid account. LockItTight Standard, for example, costs $1.99 per month per device, and reports location every 12 minutes. It also boosts the screenshot and Webcam capture resolutions.
There are lots of other laptop-recovery services out there, so I recommend doing some research before deciding which one to entrust with your laptop's safety. That said, I definitely recommend choosing one of them. Because there's nothing worse than sitting there wishing your stolen machine had a way to "phone home." With a remote-monitoring system like this, it can.

Add Title , Meta Descriptions and Meta Keywords Dynamically in Asp.net

Now We will discuss how we can use meta tags(Lean about Meta elements) in our aspx pages dynamically, Meta tags are the important for any webpage for better rankings in search engine and its is important for SEO. Meta tags can be added dynamically inasp.net application if you have a application where pages generated from the data which is in your SQL in that case using same meta tags in aspx page is not good for seo like if your page is generated dynamically with database then you should use dynamic meta tags in your pages. like you have a page name profile.aspx?userid=1 and this is a user profile page and this is a public page(anyone can see this without login like in Facebook) in that case you can't set same title and description in your pages, you have to add dynamic tags in page load of the profile.aspx page check example below.

we have a table in database pageDetails which have details of each user profile page like title description and keywords you can see on page load event of the profile page we select data from this table where user id is one then we execute query with the help of our datacontext layer then we fill the title ,metadescription and metakeywords tags of that user.

if (!IsPostBack)
        {
string query = "select * from pageDetails where userid ='1'" ;
              DataTable dt = new DataTable();

             dt = dc.get_datatable(query);
            Title = dt.Rows[0]["title"].ToString();
            MetaDescription = dt.Rows[0]["description"].ToString();
            MetaKeywords = dt.Rows[0]["Keywords"].ToString();
        }

You can also use this.MetaDescription  or this.MetaKeywords  in your code.

You won't have to enter your PASSWORD EACH TYM U power-on your computer even though u've got a password

You might want to enforce Windows XP auto logon when you are the only person that uses your Windows XP computer.
If you use this little trick, you won't have to enter your username / password combination each time you power-on your computer. It's a huge time-saver.
Most people power-on their computer and then start doing something else, allowing their computer the time to start up. The net effect is that the computer starts up to the moment when you need to enter your logon credentials and then ...
... waits.
So you're busy with whatever it is that you are doing allowing your computer to start up. After some time you guess that your computer has gone through it's start up phase and is ready for you. You go over there, enter your credentials and then ...
... you wait.
That's because the computer needs some more time to load your user environment.
Ugh, not very efficient.
Try this :
  • Click the Start button and select "Run"
  • In the "open" box, type regedit and click ok
  • Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon key
  • Check the presence of the string value "DefaultPassword" (it shouldn't be there)
  • Click "edit" in the registry editor menu and select "New", then select "string value"
  • In the box that says "New Value #1", type "DefaultPassword" (without the quotes, case sensitive)
  • Double-click this new "DefaultPassword" entry and enter the password for the user account that you want to log on automatically
  • Click ok
  • Check the existence of the string "DefaultUserName" - it should be there and contain the user account for which you want the windows xp auto logon
  • Check the existence of the "DefaultDomainName" string
  • Double-click the "AutoAdminLogon" and change its value to 1, then click ok
  • Close the registry editor
You have now set up your computer to use the Windows XP auto logon. This has a few implications :
  • It means that your computer will automatically log on with the account that is specified in the registry. If you ever want to log on with another user account, hold down the shift key as you log off. You can also set the value of "AutoAdminLogon" back to 0 in the registry of course
  • Your password is stored in plain text in the registry. If your computer is part of a network, it can be seen by someone with the authority to view a remote registry. If you're worried about security, it might be better not to implement this tip

make free calls from your pc to any mobile in the world By Anzul Aqueel

You can now make free calls from your pc to any mobile in the world. All you need is a mic with ear phones, a decent internet connection and Yahoo Messenger or Skype Installed.I’m now using this free call method and the great thing is that, this trick can be used to make unlimited call to mobiles all over the world and not limited to United states. It even works to make free local mobile calls in India.
So how do we make a call from pc to mobile phone for free?
Install Yahoo messenger or Skype. In case you don’t have it Google it and download the latest version.
Sign into your yahoo messenger or Skype using your yahoo id and password. Configure your microphone and headset if you have installed a fresh yahoo or skype software
Inside your Yahoo messenger dial +18003733411 and press enter(as shown in figure).
Make Free Call from computer to mobile using Yahoo messenger or Skype
Now a small window pops up like the one shown below.
Free Call from Computer To mobile using Yahoo Messenger
An operator greets you with a recorded welcome message along with an advertisement and asks you to select one of the Free411 service. Just hear the services options until they say the last one as “Free Call”. When you hear this, don’t press any number on your keyboard and instead SAY “Free call” loudly on your microphone connected to your PC.
After this voice message is detected by their system, they will run a short advertisement of their sponsor and make sure you don’t press any number at this time.
WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR A BEEP SOUND after the following message “Please dial the phone number country code first, don’t forget to dial 1 for north America”
After you hear this message ,immediately dial the destination number of your choice along with the country code.(e.g. for north America it’s 1 and for India it’s 91)
Your call will get connected and you can talk for 7 minutes continuous for free. When it gets disconnected, repeat the same procedure again. You can make multiple and unlimited calls with this service.
It was never easy to make a free international call like this before.
So what’s the catch?
FREE411 service toll-free number is based in USA. This company gets paid for the advertisements from sponsors.
Are there any limits on the number of call which we can make?
No. There is no limit on the number of free calls which can be made through this system.
So enjoy this trick to make free international and local calls and make sure you don’t abuse the system.

Block Websites Using Hosts Files ...... By Anzul Aqueel

Today let us see how to block websites using hosts file. This will helpful to administrator.

block websites
what is hosts file?
The host file contains Domain Name and IP address associated with them.  Your host file will be in this path:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\
Whenever we enter the Domainname or URL (for eg: www.webaddress.com), a query will be send to the DNS (Domain Name server).  This DNSconnect to the IP address whichis associated with the Domain Name.   But before this to be done, the host file in our system will check for the IP address associated with the Domain Name.

block websites
let us assume the website that you want to block is www.facebook.com.

1. Open the hosts file with notepad.
2.type 127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com below the 127.0.0.1 localhost
3.save the file.
4. open Mozilla, type www.facebook.com
and hit enter. Now it will show page not found so user can not access the facebook.com

Update:
Windows Won't allow you to edit the hosts file from this location C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ .
So copy the hosts file to desktop.
Edit as mentioned above.
Save the file.
Now copy the saved file and paste inside C:\Windows\Sys
